West Richland Municipal Golf is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Richland, Washington.
West Richland Golf Course was originally farmland converted to an emergency landing and dropping point for planes during World War II. After the war, the Army Corp of Engineers built a 9-hole golf course and in 1953, the course opened and was transferred into a community trust. The course was later expanded into an 18-hole course and renamed the West Richland Golf Course.
West Richland Golf Course is a daily fee 18-hole regulation, par 71 links style course and measures from the championship tees 5,987 yards. This course plays straight and provides ample challenge for all skill levels due to its proximity to the Yakima River. The river comes into play on four holes.
